  • To prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of the Service.
  • To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • To improve our Service through aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Data. We share data only as follows:

  • US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) — the application data is submitted to the official ESTA system on your behalf.
  • Payment processor — billing details required to process the transaction.
  • Hosting, email and analytics providers — strictly under data processing agreements that limit use to delivering our Service.
  • Authorities — where required by law, regulation, court order or to protect our legal rights.

5. How We Protect Information

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls limited to authorised personnel, regular security reviews and minimised data retention. No method of electronic transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work continuously to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting, tax and fraud-prevention obligations. After that period, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the Personal Data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact support@visaassistants.com.

8. Information for EU and UK Users

Lawful basis for processing

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the ESTA assistance service you ordered.
  • Legal obligation — accounting, tax and fraud-prevention requirements.
  • Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, service improvement, and limited business communications.
  • Consent — where consent is required, for example for non-essential cookies.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your rights under GDPR (or UK GDPR) have been infringed.

International data transfers

Submitting an ESTA application requires transferring your data to US authorities. This transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract you have entered into with us.

If you reside in California, you have additional rights, including the right to know what Personal Data we collect, sell or share, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate data, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Data. We do not sell Personal Data. To exercise your California rights, contact us at support@visaassistants.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 16 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has submitted Personal Data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Online Behavioural Advertising

We may use limited advertising and conversion-tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. We do not engage in cross-site behavioural advertising profiling beyond what is necessary to attribute and improve our own campaigns. You can manage advertising preferences through your browser and device settings.

12. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or accuracy of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.
